Fund the board. Keep it free.

TrampHereBro puts every hall's open calls, scale, and per diem in one place, free to every member. It's running infrastructure used by 17,900 tradespeople in eleven weeks, built and paid for by one working IBEW journeyman. Here's where it stands and what funding unlocks.

Find the work before you call the hall. A live national job board for the union trades, free to every member. 1,843 open calls, 7,433 hands needed, 698 locals tracked, 5 trades across the US and Canada, 17.9K users in 11 weeks.
The problem: there is no defined way to get on a union job. Every local dispatches differently. About 7,000 electricians enter the trade each year while 10,000 retire, and 88% of firms report difficulty filling hourly craft positions.
What it is: every open call in one place, free. A nightly dispatch sweep, structured data across 698 locals, five trades in two countries, a daily briefing, per-diem board, and paycheck calculator, mobile-first in English and Spanish.
Traction: eleven weeks, zero marketing spend. 17,917 active users, 36,173 sessions, 3:37 average engagement, 61% of sessions from organic search, weekly active users growing from about 600 to 2,750.
Who built it: Noah, Spanky the Sparky, a union journeyman wireman with 178K+ followers and host of the Spark The Trade podcast. Free to members always, currently a single point of failure, with demand outpacing capacity.
What funding unlocks, four priorities in order: coverage of every hall and trade, reliable infrastructure, a mobile app with call alerts, and dedicated capacity beyond one person's nights and weekends.
The ask: fund the board, keep it free. Options are direct funding, institutional partnership, or sponsorship and ad placement. Independence is preserved: no funder gets control over what appears on the board.
